Your Privacy is important to SIPphone, Inc. (hereinafter altogether iPhox). Therefore, iPhox is committed to respecting your privacy and the confidentiality of your personal data and traffic data. This Privacy Policy is designed to assist you in understanding how iPhox uses and safeguards the information, personal data and traffic data you provide in using iPhox's internet phone software (hereinafter Software) and the Service (hereinafter Service).

Explanation of Service.
Through the website www.iPhox.com (hereinafter Website), iPhox offers the Software as well as Service (services of iPhox for which you need to make a payment, i.e. the service which allows you to make calls to and receive calls from end-users on the Public Switched Telephone Network (hereinafter PSTN)).

Installing the Software allows you to communicate with any other iPhox user through voice communication and/or other forms of communication, through the Internet. By making use of the Service, you are also able to make communications to end-users on the PSTN.

This Privacy Policy for Paid Services exists in conjunction with the Privacy Policy published on www.iPhox.com that refers to the use of the iPhox Software.

Service
In order to provide you with the Service, iPhox shall collect and process the following personal and traffic data.

Subscriber information
In order to verify your identity and to provide the Service, iPhox asks you to enter some personal data including, but not limited to, your name, billing information and e-mail address, on the Website. We use a third party billing provider to bill you for the Services and we will, therefore, provide this billing provider with the necessary billing data.

This subscriber information is securely stored on a server of iPhox or iPhox's third party billing provider and is used by iPhox, as well as by the third party billing provider, in accordance with the relevant legislation.

Please note that your billing data are sensitive pieces of information, which can be used to find out information about your use of the Services. Please be sure to keep this information safe and do not share it with others.

Traffic Data
In order to transmit the calls through the PSTN and to bill the calls, iPhox collects traffic data. Traffic data means any data processed for the purpose of the conveyance of communication or the billing thereof, including, but not limited to, the duration of a call and the (IP) numbers of the called party and the calling party.

iPhox will erase the traffic data, or make the traffic data anonymous, as soon as it is no longer needed for the purpose of the transmission of the communication or for billing purposes.

How iPhox uses personal and traffic data and the confidential communication
iPhox shall take appropriate organizational and technical measures to protect the personal and traffic data provided to it or collected by it, and shall not retain it any longer than required in order to perform its services or as required under relevant legislation. Your personal and traffic data can only be accessed by authorized employees of iPhox who need to have access to these data in order to be able to fulfill their given duties.

iPhox shall not sell, rent, trade or otherwise transfer any personal and/or traffic data to any third party without your explicit permission.
However, iPhox may sometimes share your personal and traffic data with carriers and/or agents in order to provide you with the Service or other services you have requested; for example the PSTN-VoIP gateway provider and/or the third party billing provider. iPhox will always require these third parties to take appropriate organizational and technical measures to protect your personal and traffic data and to observe the relevant legislation.

iPhox shall take appropriate technical measures to protect the confidentiality of the communications via its Software and Service, with due observance of the applicable obligations and exceptions under the relevant legislation.

Please be informed that, notwithstanding the above mentioned, iPhox will endeavor to provide all necessary assistance and information to fulfill the request of any designated competent authority.
