E-Commerce Policies

This document refers to premium services purchased from the iPhox.com members area (Site) or from the iPhox Software (Software). Accessories sold by third parties to enhance your computer for VoIP such as headsets and speakerphones are covered by the terms and conditions of the relevant site or service. This includes third party sites linked from the iPhox site.
Return Policy
In general, virtual goods, such as Call In or Call Out are non-refundable. To make sure you will be satisfied with any product you purchase from our service, you should extensively test your iPhox account first. If you are dissatisfied with the free service, it is likely that you will not be satisfied with the premium services.
However, to allow you to test the CallOut system, we will refund your purchase if you have used less than $1 USD of your purchased credits, up to one (1) month from the date your credits are assigned to your account.
When one month has elapsed, or you have used more than $1 USD of your credit, we will only refund the outstanding balance on your account up to six months from the date of purchase. Requests for refunds should be made from the support site, where you can submit a trouble ticket to request a refund. Processing refunds on Call Out credit can take up to 15 business days. You will receive an email notification when your credit is successfully processed. Call Out credit expires 12 months after purchase.
Call billing is accurate to within five seconds, and Call Out calls are billed every minute. We do not make refunds on individual calls, where you might experience issues.
CallIn Purchases are non-refundable. At iPhox?s discretion account active periods may be extended. iPhox Access Numbers are a free alternative to Call In numbers, and give you a good way to test the Call In functionality before you purchase.
Troubles Making Purchases
Fraud is a reality with e-commerce of virtual goods (things not delivered to a physical address). While the majority of the fraudulent transactions are successfully stopped by over 40 filters conducted on each transaction, a small percent of good customers are incorrectly rejected.
To avoid triggering a fraud filter, enter in all your billing information EXACTLY as it appears on your statement. If you are still having trouble, we have provided you alternate ways to make purchases with our service.
PayPal
iPhox accepts payments from users with PayPal accounts that have Confirmed their address and Verified their account with Paypal. Payments made from Paypal accounts that have not been Verified with Paypal will result in a failed purchase attempt, and the payment will be refunded (refunds often take several business days to process). Moneybookers
iPhox accepts payments from users with Moneybooker accounts. Please be aware of fees, if any, charged by Moneybooker to transfer funds. Transactions from suspicious Moneybooker accounts will be reversed and the account blocked from future purchases.
Money Orders/Cashier Checks
iPhox does not accept money orders or cashier checks. To use a money order or cashier check, open a PayPal or Moneybookers account, which allow you to deposit money into an account and then make payments. Any Money Order/Cashier Check received in the mail will be returned to sender. iPhox and its parent company, SIPphone, are not responsible for lost or destroyed mail.
Transaction Security
All e-commerce transactions are conducted via a secure, encrypted (https) connection. We use a 128-bit encryption, the standard for internet commerce and security.
